SHANA FORD

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Shana, a native Minnesotan, is a mission-driven executive with over 20 years of experience leading highly effective teams while implementing transformational outcomes for communities. She joined KIPP Minnesota in September 2020 and has taken steps to transform the KIPP MN community, including launching the Literacy Revolution which focuses on early reading intervention and support. Previously, Shana served as the Vice President for the Center for Economic Inclusion and was the Director of Lending and Impact Investing for First Children’s Finance. She also served as Chief Administration and Human Capital Officer for the Harvest Network of Schools, following an 18-year career in banking where she served as Vice President with BMO Harris and Wells Fargo.

Shana holds a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing management and a master’s degree in leadership.


Isreal Moses IV, PHD

CHIEF ACADEMIC OFFICER

Isreal is a lifelong educator who  began at KIPP MN in January 2021 with over fifteen years experience as a high school administrator. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to start MFAM Capital & Consulting LLC., which focuses on public speaking and staff development, emphasizing the socio-emotional aspects of education. Isreal received his Bachelor of Science from North Dakota State, and a Master of Arts in educational leadership from Hamline University. 

Isreal enjoys volunteering as a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Big Brother Big Sister, and March of Dimes. Currently, he is serving as a board member for the Northside YMCA. Isreal and his wife, Kyra, have three children. His favorite quote which epitomizes all avenues of his work is, “Everybody can be great because everybody can serve.” - Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.


Deonna Perez-Evans

CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

Deonna started at KIPP MN in July 2021. Before that, she worked in non-profit human resources for 20 years and is a Senior Certified Human Resources Professional (SPHR / SHRM-CP). Deonna earned her bachelor’s degree in management with a minor in organizational behavior and a Master of Art in human resource management from Concordia University-St. Paul. 

Deonna  is a native Minnesotan who has four children, and five grandchildren. She is an avid reader of sci-fi, horror, and has a new found love of Korean cinema. Most importantly, Deonna has been on a journey of lifelong learning and discovery and enjoys helping others on this same journey within her community.
